Wednesday.

Wednesdays are the nights that Sharon goes to PYS rehearsal so my mom takes her up to Phoenix. That means that on Wednesday nights, it's just me, my brother, and my dad. Since my mom isn't there, we eat ramen. I look forward to those nights... :)

The crazy weather is making me feel crazy! It makes me want to travel. I really really really want to go to the beach for some reason. I can't wait until I go to the zoo! I think in the future, I want to take a trip to the Grand Canyon on one of those charter buses. That sounds like fun.............

Enjoying this beautiful life that was created by God.

I saw Cassie today and it was nice to have an "only Cassie and Michelle" time. It feels good to know that I have a best friend like Cassie. Sure, we didn't have the chance to spend our high school years together, but it's nice to finally spend a lot of time with her now. Because we missed like four years away from each other, it's surprising how close we still are. There are a lot of things that Cassie doesn't know about me and there are a lot of things that I still don't know about her. But it all comes down to the fact that I have someone who I can laugh with, cry with, and learn with. She inspires me so much everyday. She's my sister in Christ... ;)

But anyways. So after we had our froyo (frozen yogurt, for those of you who don't know...), I got on the light rail to go home.

The first thing I noticed when I boarded the light rail was this group of old ladies. Four of them. Maybe in their 50's. They looked like they were on their way home after a fun day of sightseeing in Phoenix. They were chuckling together and looking at the sights around them.

And then the light rail stopped suddenly. Apparently some felony was on the loose and the light rail driver guy had spotted him. So the cops came and arrested him. Scary. D:

Anyways, the ladies were so worried and confused because this was their first time on the light rail. But they got over it and tried to make the best of the situation. They ate Tootsie Rolls together and talked about their day together. It was endearing.

I guess what I learned was that I hope that even when I'm old, I'll still have my friends who I can have fun adventures with. And I guess you could say that I got over my fear of getting old because of today.

Then I finally got home after like an hour. I'm going to try to make a lasagna tonight. Huzzah.

Synergistic.

I've noticed that I get happier when everyone's happy. I feed off of people's happiness, which I guess is good. It's easier to feel good when everyone around you is happy.

Have a happy day!

When your math class gets canceled.

woohoo.

That warm feeling in your heart.

My morning was eh. I got squished by this beastly guy on the light rail. That was a tad horrifying... I'm in my philosophy class right now. I can't read anything that my professor is writing on the board. Yikes!

Jeana jipsanim (one of my heroes!) made a blog! And James did too! Yes!

Kwangse and I are currently obsessed with a song from Phineas and Ferb. "My name is Doof and I will do what you say. WooWoo." :)

I just found out I have a major project due tomorrow. I can feel the stress coming!!!

OH NO

The new Dyson D25... according to my mother.

So far, I am in process of convincing 6 people to make a blog. Probably only 2 will for sure make one. :)

Today is the Lord's Day so I'm just going to church... I should probably start getting ready soon. It's my mom's turn to bring food so our kitchen smells spicy. My mom is such a good cook...

But she also has a weird obsession with vacuum cleaners. She probably gone through at least a dozen this summer... and by "gone through," I mean purchasing one, deciding she doesn't like it, returning it, and replacing it... this probably takes a time period of a whole week. Right now she's got her eyes on the new Dyson model. Keep your eyes on the prize, Umma!

She rarely talks about her childhood, but when she does, it makes me realize how hard her life was and how hard she's trying to make our lives better. She hates eating ramen because that's all she ate as a child... she loves mushrooms because they were a luxury for her back then. Someday I hope I can make it all up to her. The one thing she wants (I'm talking materially here) is a diamond ring. You'll get that ring, Umma. Someday. :)
